Job Summary

We are actively seeking analytical, detail-obsessed professionals to manage our store-level financial reporting. As a Retail Accountant, you will audit daily sales, track shrink metrics, and reconcile complex vendor trade-in programs. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Sales Reconciliation: Audit the daily point-of-sale journals, ensuring that all credit card settlements, cash deposits, and financing applications (e.g., Best Buy Credit Card) balance perfectly.
• Shrink Analysis: Partner with the Asset Protection and Operations teams to analyze inventory variances, generating reports on high-loss categories to drive operational changes.
• Vendor Programs: Reconcile manufacturer coupons, mobile carrier activations (Apple, Verizon, AT&T), and trade-in hardware credits to ensure the store receives proper corporate funding.
• Expense Management: Audit store-level controllable expenses, such as supply ordering and maintenance requests, ensuring the store stays within its allocated budget.

Requirements & Qualifications
